A typical website of up to 4 pages includes:

- Choice of colour scheme, from sombre to artistic.
- Choice of page headings with matching navigation buttons.
- Your emailed copy text included on the pages.
- Up to six photos or images included, supplied by you on disk or by email.
- Contact form that people can use to email you from the website, which avoids spam in your mailbox.
And stuff that you won’t see but makes a big difference to whether the site is worth your investment:
Your web site will be built to World Wide Web Consortium standards, which means that:
- pages load as quickly as your connection allows
- the site can be seen as intended by a range of web browsers
- Your website doesn’t upset any search engines, which can ban websites using disallowed coding.
You’ll get HTML tags to help the site get listed on Google, Yahoo etc.

For this to work your website needs to be ‘optimised’. Search engine optimisation depends on a number of factors: the text used on the site and whether it includes searched keywords, metatags (some hidden code in the web pages), links from other sites, and various other factors, some of which the likes of Google keep secret.
